Package includes shuttle service to and from Milan, accommodation with Piemontese breakfast, day tours to historic villages and Alba, wine tastings, cooking class, and a daily main meal including a specially tailored degustation meal at a 2 Michelin star restaurant.
Itinerary: (Please note it may be subject to minor changes)
Day 1: Shuttle from Milan to La Morra from bustling city to rich and fertile orchards and vineyards. Wine tasting followed by dinner in one of my favourite ristorantes in a neighbouring village.
Day 2: Day tour exploring historic villages, castles, breathtaking views and the famous town of Barolo. Dinner in a restaurant in La Morra.
Day 3: Winery visit followed by a hands-on cooking class held by a renowned chef set in his restaurant where we dine with panoramic views. Free afternoon/ evening - Art classes available.
Day 4: A visit to Alba markets is followed by a wine tasting and lunch at Pelissero Winery in Treiso. A stunning drive back to La Morra through vineyards. Free evening.
Day 5: Free day of leisure. You may wish to paint, scooter, hike, explore Alba with its grand promenade of designer shops, galleries, cathedral and museums or just sit in a café with gelato, espresso and a good book. Farewell dinner in a Michelin star restaurant at sunset overlooking spectacular views.
Day 6: Return shuttle to Milan. (Or make your own alternate travel arrangements to Turin, Genova and Cinque Terre, Rome, Florence, Venice……)
